JUNIOR FAIR COUNTY BORN AND BRED RABBIT SHOW

Hosted by the Clermont County Rabbit Founders

 

Arrival time:                Same as arrival time for Junior Fair rabbits:

                                    Exhibition Rabbits - 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday before the fair.

                                    Meat Rabbits - 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday before the fair.

Dismissal time:          Exhibition Rabbits 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday

                                    Meat Rabbits - After Sale

Show times:                Show is in the Rabbit Barn

                                    7 p.m. Sunday of fair

General Rules

  1. Rabbits and exhibitors must be enrolled to show in the Clermont County Junior Fair Rabbit Show.

  2. The rabbits used for the Clermont County Born and Bred Rabbit Show will be the same animals that will be shown in the Junior Fair Rabbit Show.

  3. Rabbits must have been born and bred in Clermont County.

  4. If rabbits are purchased from a Clermont County breeder, the exhibitor must present a bill of sale when signing up for the County Born and Bred Rabbit Show. The bill of sale must identify the breeder and contain the breeder’s signature.

  5. If rabbits are born and bred by the exhibitor, a signed document stating the rabbits were born and bred on the exhibitor’s farm must be presented at the time the exhibitor signs up for the County Born and Bred Rabbit Show.

  6. The entry fee must be paid by June 15, 2022.

  7. Exhibitors who live outside Clermont County but are registered to show rabbits in Clermont County, may raise their rabbits at home if they have a bill of sale from a breeder in Clermont County.

  8. The Clermont County Born and Bred Rabbit Show will be conducted using the Clermont County Junior Fair Rabbit rules.

  9. Classes will be broken down by breed; buck and does will show together.

  10. Classes may be broken down by sex if entries exceed 12 entries in a single class.

  11. Grievances can be submitted in writing to the Clermont County Rabbit Breeders Founders for review. Exhibitors found to have broken a Clermont County Junior Fair rules face a possible suspension from Born and Bred show the following year.
